This is a SAM SP! portable ball machine purchased off Maximum sports Australia for in excess of $3000. It is a rugged polycarbonate professional machine with brand new batteries and a smart electronic charger. Still available on the market.
Controls include angle of shooting ball (mechanical control knob), ball speed, ball spin from slice to topspin, horizontal sweep or fixed operation, choice of frequency of ball shooting, and has a lobber attachment. In any one outing, I have never been able to tax the batteries enough to notice any drop in speed. First set of batteries lasted 7 years - secret is to recharge after each use.
Also included are a pickup tube and two buckets of pressureless balls which last years.It has a retractable handle and good wheels for easy towing and is easily lifted into the boot of a car.One of the lugs on the turntable is broken but this does not affect the feed of the balls. It can also shoot normal tennis balls. Happy to demonstrate.
